Mrs Adejumoke Fausat Hamzat, the esteemed wife of the  Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government,has made an indelible impact on the community through her exceptional leadership and dedication to public service. With her visionary approach and tireless efforts, she has transformed the lives of countless individuals and brought about positive change.

Under Mrs. Hamzat's guidance, Ifako-Ijaiye LG has witnessed significant progress in various sectors. Through skill acquisition programs and empowerment schemes, she has empowered countless individuals to become self-reliant and lead fulfilling lives.

"I went into politics in 2017 being inspired by my humble husband, the chairman of ifako Ijaye local government. His dedication towards his work motivated me to get driven into the world of politics.Besides, i am feminist who strongly believes that anything a man can do, a woman can do too if not better. Getting into politics has been one of my greatest decisions because there is so many changes that can be effected, ranging from the community level to the nationality. Being able to help the less priviledge to provide good social amenities and infrastructure for the citizens. If I had a chance to talk to all the females who have second doubts in coming into the world of politics it would be “Remember, you have the chance to make a difference in people’s lives positively, not only people’s life but to make our country a better place for both the citizens and the foreigners”. 

   I am the Grand Matron of the National Council of Women’s Societies. I am also the CEO of Double A Foundation where we deal with widows and the less privileged".
